From a relevant reddit thread:Apparently I need to migrate my Minecraft account to a Mojang account to access Realms. Anyone know if there are any downsides to doing so?
The team effort appeals to me. If I can help others by logging in and grinding for a while, I'd love to.You have an enchanting table already? Madness!
And we have to realize that this is a team effort. This isn't like the other servers where we spread out & go at it on our own. The thing about adventure maps is getting as many people ready as we can and then attacking the different areas to with the prize. You then take the prize back to the Mausoleum and put the prize on the pedestal, where it gives you a prize. You win when you get all the prizes.
Also my issue so far has been leather, I managed to slay four rabbits to make one book, but haven't seen any cows.No worries! Today at spawn I built a farm and put in some sugar cane. Because I knew we needed this stuff to make books...to make an enchanting table...
How the hell did you do that so fast? I've been digging everywhere for obsidian!
You should have gotten an invite. If not I'll resend. The team effort appeals to me. If I can help others by logging in and grinding for a while, I'd love to.
Done. You now have bookcases surrounding your enchanting table. Also my issue so far has been leather, I managed to slay four rabbits to make one book, but haven't seen any cows.
Another good thing about this is that it's not meant to last. The Adventure maps are quick and once you beat them you either reset or try a different Adventure map. I think we started on the best one, though. This one is pretty intricate. The team effort appeals to me. If I can help others by logging in and grinding for a while, I'd love to.

Give me your user name and I'll invite.
I put that there to put an enchanting table. Then Dei built one at her place.i wasnt sure what the wood block thing was in the hut, but it looked liked a good place for an enchanment table so i went ahead and built you a shrine. went ahead and built myself some gear. ill be around.
i have nothing to do tonight, im probably going to try to take the rest on. ill be on vent once i start if anyone is going to want to join me.Found the right pyramid. Mapped it out, beat the boss, got the adventure cube. And then got hit by a skeleton's arrow and knocked into a pool of lava. Since I had fire protection I actually got out but the skeletons were still there and killed me. Lost everything. Again.
But the boss is gone!
oh yeah!, i think im going to take another one on tonight, possibly start breeding sheep for colored wool.Bones and I took on two places tonight. The first were the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. We first went inside and tried to find the boss, but we couldn't. While I looked for clues he went outside...and found that we had to climb to the top, where we found a button that led us to the trials. We had to go through a number of rooms but we finally made it to the boss. Teamwork prevailed and we kicked Minos's ass! Got some pretty decent loot, too!
Then we decided to try and hit the one that Dei and I gave up on - The Lighthouse at Alexandria. To give you an idea, you have to walk narrow ledges and jump to reach ladders while trying not to fall to your death. And at many points there are (were) monster spawners. You then get to the very top and get attacked by...chickens. Actually they are tiny zombies disguised as chickens. We then had to construct our own ladder to the very tip top where we engaged the boss even though he was content to watch us take the block and leave. But I wanted his lootz. We defeated him (although I almost died in the process) and then both called it quits for dinner.
All in all it was very fun trying to figure out the puzzles. And try not to get in each other's ways while we're firing our bows, which are enchanted with Power and Flame! Right, Bones?
i think thats it, i think we won...No worries, Pez.
I got both the Taj and Atlantis. Atlantis wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. But that's only because I'd scouted it out & had lots of blocks with me. I could have walked the tightrope instead of building a bridge, but work smarter, I say! I placed both the blocks in the Mausoleum and...nothing. Hmm. So I went looking.
Outside on an upper ledge there are four buttons - one on each corner. Stepped on those and it revealed a ladder going up the side all the way to what I thought was the top. Then I walked some beams to get to the giant chandelier in the middle. On top of that were some enchanted gold armor. But still no adventure block. So I went around on each level on the roof and sure enough I found four MORE buttons, which revealed a ladder going way, WAY up to the top. I go there and find a chest that has...well...crap in it. I climb all the way back down and find that pushing all 8 buttons opened a stairway down to the actual crypt. I met and killed the boss and got the adventure block. Placed it. Now we have all adventure blocks and all wool. So you know what happened? Nothing.
I think we're going to have to explore to find what to do next.
