This event went amazingly well for me. I know my husband will cringe when he reads this, but the magic tablet really turned things around for me. I did so many events with nothing and so many Ho ohs with nothing and the tablet really came through for me. I will never update or change it lol.

A certain Hobo got a shiny Ho oh on his second try with the very same Iphone that denied me lol. He and the phone were clearly in cahoots lol.

First egg I hatch for het 9 eggs quest, bam, high-iv shiny eevee. Pugh.

Last weekend at the Ho-oh event, I went 1 for 3, and only on my last try. Mr. Z caught his Ho-oh first round. Li'l Z caught 2 Ho-ohs, including a level 27something shiny on his first try.

Of course, I'm the only one who cares about having a full Pokedex, so :mad::mad::mad:

(BTW, this kid is a magnet for shinies when we take him on raids. I swear it's like the game knows he's a kid and goes, "Oh, here's a shiny, little guy! Enjoy!")

I wrote to Niantic and for kids under 13, they will supposedly be automatically completing the social parts of the Celebi quest for them.

I got 0 shinnies out of 16 raids with two accounts. RNGesus hasn't lined me for quite some time. No shiny Arti, Zap, Moltres, snubbull, houndour, natu, wingull,... last one I found was Minun, I think.

Had some minor issues (network errors, burned a couple passes due to timing issues) but otherwise had a successful raiding day! Also got a weather-boosted 96% which is now my best IV Moltres, so pretty happy about that!

Shoot, I was going for "Two Hands," as in two-handed. My player is based on Revy from Black Lagoon. I guess it works well enough, unless you have a better suggestion.

Ah, yes, it means "two hands". There isn't really a different phrase in Chinese to distinguish between "two hands" and "both hands".

Yeah, I tried plugging in “simultaneous hands” and it just spit back 同时动手 or 同時手.

Professor Willow’s Global Research Challenge Ends with a Power-Packed Ultra Bonus Event!

-> All three birds in L5 raids 'till 20/09 with shiny potential
-> 20/09 till 20/10 - Mewtwo in L5 raids
-> More Kanto Pokémon will appear all over the world
-> Some regionals (Tauros, Kangaskhan, Farfetch'd, Mr Mime) will be available from Alolan eggs all through the month of September. Bit sad here, because except for Tauros, those are exactly all the ones I already have.

-> Tangela and Porygon have also been added to the Alolan eggs (the regular varieties). I assume this is in anticipation for the release of their evolutions in Gen 4.
-> Shiny Grimer and Geodude are in the game. I can't imagine anyone gives a fig about Grimer, but Golem's still one of the best rock attackers in the game (behind Smack Down Tyranitar and possiblt Rhyperior once he's released) so that hunt is ON.
