The last I was there (yesterday) it still wasn't on his front page, and I didn't realize it had taken over the main comic. It was still X'ander as of last night.
It literally switched over only a bit before being mentioned here. I know because I checked the site earlier today while bored at work and it was the Xander comic, then five minutes later noticed the post here and went back to check it out and it was up.The last I was there (yesterday) it still wasn't on his front page, and I didn't realize it had taken over the main comic. When he's passionate about something it's usually at least somewhat good, or even straight up good. It's when it becomes a chore or a routine that he checks out. Perhaps Scott would be better suited to telling short stories, rather than keeping one long thing like PvP.I actually liked it, too. Maybe because it's such a large departure from his usual stuff or maybe because it's more personal so he put more mojo into this than usual.
He probably should have moved on from PvP in one way or another years ago. Even David Willis mixed things up when he ended Shortpacked and introduced Dumbing of Age. Albeit with many of the same characters, but a different, more grounded universe, but still. When he's passionate about something it's usually at least somewhat good, or even straight up good. Not the first typo since the beginning of Mort. It seems he still doesn't allow for editors or spell checkers.I gotta be that guy... It's bawled, not balled.
Hey, they just ruin the cre8ive process.he still doesn't allow for editors or spell checkers.
I don't really begrudge typos (even though there's little excuse for them) but this is just the wrong word. Not the first typo since the beginning of Mort. It seems he still doesn't allow for editors or spell checkers.
"Dad's getting worse, my business is tanking..."Took probably longer than it should've, but looks like Kurtz is finally getting around to admitting how his life is making him feel these days.

It's probably doing better now, but these comics depict a few years ago when he was taking care of his dad and not updating regularly, or at all."Dad's getting worse, my business is tanking..."
Huh, I thought he was still doing okay, financially?
Ah, okay. I wasn't sure how long ago this was. It's probably doing better now, but these comics depict a few years ago when he was taking care of his dad and not updating regularly, or at all.
This is what I expect Superman to be. Not dark and edgy with gritted teeth.Fan work, but it's still a cute Superman story.
I do like Frank Cho, but I feel like 5k is a bit pricey.Kurtz is selling off some of his art.
I just assumed it is to fuel the eldercare. So I wonder WHY he’s got to sell stuff off.
What eldercare? His dad died some time ago.I just assumed it is to fuel the eldercare.

Well, not all of him, exactly. What eldercare? His dad died some time ago.
