Alright, I feel ridiculously close to this case. This little pissfuck that murdered Cst. Worden is someone I went to school with. He was 2 grades below me but even then he was a complete piece of shit.

All this happened when I was still a rookie and I took part in a raid (with ERT members) on a suspected hiding place of his. He wasn't there but it was still a pretty harrowing night. He was later found and arrested in my adopted hometown of St. Albert. I dunno, I guess I'm just glad all this shit is over. I don't even know why I'm posting this here.

One of the guys I was in the military with raped and killed a woman by smashing her head open with a large rock. He didn't seem like the type that could do it and it surprised everyone.

People do some fucked up things as you well know.

Doh...this time I was referring to me.

To semi-digress, I remember meeting a girl off of the internet...nice girl. A few years later, I see her on the news after she and her boyfriend skipped out on this huge bill at Bennigan's. The waitress ran out after them and she ran her over...threw her life away over $120. I just shook my head.

Public? Nah. They should pay per view it at $30 so they could do something constructive with the money. Maybe split it half and half with law enforcement/victim's families.
