I'll probably be adding a poll to this because I have a feeling people will have strong convictions on the subject.

The new software - which may or may not be live on January 1 - has the ability to set up custom tags as buttons. So you go to a thread and there's a button that says "comics" or whatever. You click it and it adds the tag. OR we could continue to allow random and sometimes funny tags.

Which would you prefer? Custom and regulated tags or let anyone tag and just watch them and get mean or trollish ones reported?

I think the way things are now, sometimes the tags add a lot to the thread.

It's also a good way to hide behind passive-aggressiveness, though. Maybe if there was an easy way to indicate where the tag came from, people would be less inclined to abuse it.

We can see who wrote the tags and have deleted some that were trollish and even sent a warning or two.

This thread has none of the contention promised by the title. I want my money back.

Keep it the same. I'm pretty sure we've only got people with thick skin left anyway.
I told you I went to the dermatologist for that.[/QUOTE]

You lying liar.

Looking at you is like watching continental drift - the armored plates of skin just slide over each other, and you just can't help but wonder when your california shaped earlobe is just gonna fall off.

Being a moderator hasn't been kind to you, no sir.
