Got one last night as well, however I have a feeling most of this weekend will be spent in skyrim. Will probably jump on for a bit, if I can.

Though I assume all the e-mails went out by now, I would still check your account under the test center to see if yuou are invited, I thought I missed this round as I saw all the forum posts about mass Canadians getting in and did not have an e-mail myself but I checked the test center and I was invited. I lso recieved the invite e-mail the next day, also if I try to reset my password I don't get that e-mail till the next day. Just letting some of you who may have not gotten an invite just to double check before giving up.

Got an invite this afternoon too.
Just finishing downloading the client (after almost 7 hours).
Pumped to get on over the weekend!

EDIT: Errr...nevermind. The progress bar is full, but now it says it's got another 7.5 gigs to download...who knows how long it'll be after that...

Two people on my SW:TOR FB page got invites, but not me. Why do you hate me Bioware?!? I promised to put off Skyrim for you, and this is how you treat me?

The game is well over a 40 gig download... so yeah. Watch your bandwidth.... especially since this is the 3rd... maybe even 4th wipe... each wipe = new client.

Plus the game is coming out next month... so...

I just got an e-mail saying I've been selected and I think, Woot, I'm in for the weekend, but then come to find out, it's for "an upcoming weekend" meaning the "open" weekend for anyone who signed on before 11/11/11. Congrats SW:TOR, you have officially Beta blue balled me...

Yup. Officially everyone who signed up for testing on or before yesterday will get an invite for "an upcoming weekend".

Yeah pretty much this. I read this email as I was walking out of the office expecting a great beta weekend but no. Damn you SW:TOR that was just mean.

Got a beta invite this weekend, as did 12 million other people. Every server has like a 10000 person queue.

Playing Skyrim instead.

Well, played it for like 10 minutes tonight. I was feeling like I was playing Knights of the Old Republic WoW. Now, don't get me wrong. That's preferable to plain WoW.

Skyrim wins.

Was invited into this weekend. Took three days to download the thing (which should have been a clue of what was to come). Go to play, and it won't show anything and then freezes up my computer. Have tried it several times, updated drivers and whatnot, and still the same outcome. Well, I guess it was better to find out this way before buying it. Time to move my preorder money to Mass Effect 3. :(

It's not a "getting in" issue, it's my computer that's being a ass. My monitor will show "Input Not Valid" and then my computer freezes. Black screen, no sound, no getting out of the program, nothing. My machine is just too old, and I'm too poor to upgrade anything or get a new rig.

Played for half a dozen hours so far this weekend. Servers just went down for maintenance. Guess I'll have to find something else to do for a while...

Can I say that the combat system in TOR is freaking amazing? So fluid and natural. Feels like I'm actually fighting something vs pretty buttons as I stand stationary with a target.
