They NEVER do a trial at launch. It'll likely be at least a year before they do it. If it helps, it plays like a better version of WoW.

I guess it's just something you learn from MMO experience: The beta IS the demo, so you'd better get in the beta if your not sure if you'll like the game.

Typically MMOs launch with the first 30 days free without a subscription, although that sounds like the opposite of what you want. Still gotta buy the game itself.

If you bought a physical copy, the pre-order code was on the receipt they gave you, or something they gave you. If you bought it via Origin, then you need to boot up Origin and get the code from there. Then you can put it in on their website. If your receipt doesn't have a code, take it to where you pre-ordered and ask them to give you one.

However, I have NO IDEA if you'll get in now, as I don't know how they track they pre-order codes. It's entirely possibly that they'll consider you a recent pre-order and simply not get the early access. You can still claim your pre-order crystal though, which is actually pretty good and very cool to see in action. It's a yellow blast with a black core, which looks stunning.

I preordered the Digital Deluxe version, and got a 20-digit "Digital Rights" number (like a CD key) in the order confirmation email, which I redeemed immediately as the preorder code.

Yeah, that's the pre-order code. But if you lost that email for whatever reason, you can just check your Origin account via Origin and the code is there as well.

From what I've heard, today is only for people who ordered on 7/21 (the first day you could pre-order). So I suspect that tomorrow will be the August people and Thursday will be the September people, going like that until they hit launch.

So I found a list of Datacrons (http://www.swtor-spy.com/datacrons/) which are used for perminent skill+. I can't seem to find any listing of the security chest spawns. Anyone interested in mentioning their findings here? For example, on Hutta, at X -23, Y 313, Z -12 (in the sewer maintaince tunnels), there is a Datacron and a security chest that spawns every 7 minutes. The chest has between 85 and 130 credits, green armor, and medpac, stim, or commendation.

So, I've tried entering my product registration code on the site so I can subscribe and play (got my early-access invite this morning). Tells me the code has already been used...
Anyone else have this problem? Pre-ordered from Origin

That's not your product registration code, it's your pre-order code. You won't get the product code until the game ships on the 20th. You'll get an email with it then.

You CAN get into the early access. I am right now and I have the digital deluxe. If they've sent you the email saying you can get in, you just need to log in.

I have the digital deluxe as well. I got the email, but I can't log in - no subscription associated with the account - can't subscribe cause I haven't redeemed a code - the only code I have is the pre-order one apparently.

EDIT: OK, so now apparently I can play. Interesting.

Yeah, all you needed was the email. That means they activated your account for the early access.

I've got the main assets downloaded, and 3gb to go on English assets.

I wish they'd give me a total complete, i have no idea if I'm close.

Found another chest. This one on Korriban, in the Tomb of Tulak Hord. X 57, Y 491, Z -30. 7 minute spawn, green armor and about 100 credits. Surounded by lvl 7 and 8 mobs.

Anyone know a good site to start posting this kind of stuff?
