That's what happens when you start to run out of offensive linemen.
And a crap ton of other people.

Apparently it was Johnny Knox's turn on the Wheel o Injury this week. That makes Cutler, Forte, Hester and Knox out for the season now in four consecutive weeks.

I thought the same thing. Now they are tied for worst record with St. Louis and Minnesota.

Patriots get home field advantage AND the Jets went down with a whimper? Damn, not a bad week.

This is why I'm not a Raider fan. Their defense couldn't stop a high school squad. Pathetic.

But the Niners locked up the #2 seed! Woo!

I shoulda picked up Matt Flynn. Instead - I played Tim Tebow in my other league's championship game. *SIGH*

Goddammit Lions, you can't beat Matt Flynn? It's going to be awesome when New Orleans absolutely murders us for the second time this season. Can't wait!

I think the bolded and underlined area is what you meant to say. Flynn is a pretty good quarterback, better than a lot of quarterbacks playing as first string in the NFL.

Then lets get someone on the cheap to be 2nd string and trade for a strong defensive lineman? Someone who can help stabilize the front line and prevent yardage (and especially strong run games by other teams, which is a huge weakness in the Packer game).

They've been strong in keeping the big scores from happening for other teams, but just looking at the opponent yards gained in each game is a worrying trend that can eventually lead to losses if the Pack can't keep putting up the scores they have been.

Steelers will likely be missing Ryan Clark against Denver. He suffers from sickle cell, and a couple years ago he almost died from complications after a game. Lost his spleen and gall bladder.

I'll be honest, I was traveling all day so I only had gamecast to follow. The final score didn't look like either defense even dressed, so I just saw 6 Matt Flynn TD passes and smh'd.

I just realized if you could take the Packers offense and 49ers defense you would probably have the best team ever. If nothing else that team would win the Superbowl with ease.

For the most part that is true. From what I was heard the total yardage in the game (that's both teams) beat a franchise (Green Bay Packers) record. Not sure if they beat the league record.

Polians are out in Indy. That clears the way for Andrew Luck to become Peyton Manning's understudy.

Spagnuolo, Raheem Morris done. Did the Dolphins already fire their head coach?

Yeah, Sparano was fired a few weeks back. It was a bad year for NFL coaches in Florida.

ESPN claims to have a source saying San Diego will hold a press conference later in the week where they will announce Norv Turner has been fired and Jeff Fischer has been hired to replace him. I found that doubtful, at least from a procedural standpoint, but it's possible.
