[Movies] The Upcoming Movies Trailer Thread

It's weird, right? Like, when he took over the voice in cartoons I was thrown for five minutes, and then 100% on board. He really nailed it somehow.

He's still doing the voice in the cartoons. In fact, he just got done doing all of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? (which is great, check it out). But he's also got commitments for Good Girls and Robot Chicken, as well as his own table top company, so it's entirely possible they just couldn't match schedules for this.

And I'll use this as an excuse to once again point out that the live action Scooby Doo movies were way better than they were given credit for.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one, to be honest. I think it'll be better than the trailer makes it out to be but holy hell. I didn't recognize any of these people until they spoke.

I expect plenty. At the very least, I know they've got Tracy Morgan voicing Captain Caveman.
I guess with this film coming straight to digital on May 15th its a good enough time to start getting jazzed again about the possibility of a cinematic Hanna-Barbera universe.

A more realistic Home Alone where the bad guys get fucked up instead of just cartoonishly hurt.
I mean I watched that movie already with "Better Watch Out" but that one disappointed me with the twist. This one just looks... weird. Like I feel it's being marketed as one thing but its going to be something completely different upon watching, which is very rarely a good thing.

This is a real movie that exists. Or will exist. It has one of the weirdest casts (Edge, Kelsey Grammar, Thomas Jane, Denise Richards, several Lawrence brothers). And a bonkers dumb concept. And doesn't look very good...but goddamn, I kinda want to see it anyway.

The thought that this movie is a cheap action movie probably made using phone cameras doesn't bother me. And the majority of once bigger names haven't to stoop to this level of cinema doesn't bother me... with one exception. Thomas Jane is an awesome actor and should be far above movies like this.

And they knew what they were doing with this: free trials are gone for a bit, explicitly because they wanted the Hamilton crowd to have to pay up if they wanted to see it at release. Disney payed like $75 million for the rights to this, they are damn sure going to make it back.

For what it's worth, I generally like Disney+.

For me my qualm with it is like, JUST how it crashes so easily. Like part of the problem is my connection, but even sites like DC U will still LOAD the video.
