He was talking about people not wearing masks in public, not protesters.

Get that goalpost moving shit outta here.
People aren't wearing masks BECAUSE of dipshits like those protesters and the propaganda news network that promotes these kinds of theories. You can't TELL me that there is not a political bent to the people who choose to go out in groups and don't wear masks. It ain't moving goalposts, it's looking at reality.

Mask = regular price
No mask = 2x regular price
No mask Karen = 8x regular price reduced to 2x price once the manager is spoken to

I would amend that last one to:

No mask Karen = 2x regular price raised to 8x price if the manager is spoken to.

I'm not super happy when I see people without masks but I don't personally attribute this to something political. These are people being people. Welcome to healthcare.
People choosing not to wear masks is just people being arrogant pricks who couldn't care less about what happens to anyone outside their selfish little Monkeyspheres, or people who can't see enough moves ahead into the future to realize that this is going to come around later and bite them in the ass. As Terrik says, people being the usual amount of stupid, and not political.

But the FAKE NEWS people going around preaching that it's all a conspiracy? That vaccines are really government mind-control microchips engineered by Bill Gates teaming up with Steve Jobs' cybernetic singularity, and that COVID-19 was actually kooked cooked up by Chinese bioweapon scientists who crossed monkey DNA with bats under Obama's orders? Yes, THESE people are doing it for political reasons. Their purpose in loudly demonstrating and parading this bullshit is to beat that drum and get the word out to convince other like-minded people to mass together under their banner so they can intimidate and wield influence over legislation, policy, courts, leader selection, and so on. 100% political.

And the worst part is that they end up convincing some of the people in group A to join them, ultimately dragging them along to their potential death by idiots who preyed on their desire to be part of something bigger than themselves.

With my immune system being what it is, I don’t want to go anywhere for a while after restrictions are lifted. The office and home will do.

Now our office is revolting and falling apart, but it’s huge so social distancing will be easy.

I understand that masks are hard to come by, but everyone should have a bandana or a scarf that they can turn into a mask for shopping.

I had to cash a chèque last week and I was happy to see the bank employee in gloves and a mask directing who got to come in and who needed to wait for space and directing ATM traffic.

At least you have the medical infrastructure that can at least save a lot of people before it colapses. We barely have working hospitals and test centers, and even so, people keep refusing to use even the minimal protection.

Masks are enforced law, and people still don't wear them.
Today was the first day of easing resrictions, some shops opening up again, etc. EVERYBODY and their dog warned on tv - don't make a mass run for the sohps, don't all bunch together, only go for short periods and when necessary, wear a mask.
All open shops were swamped, large gathered crowds pushing and pulling to get in, police having to send shoppers back home.
I mean, it's no "shoot the security guard who's restricting me" American idiocy, but we're not far off.

People are morons. Complete and utter morons.

I went for a walk on Saturday - with a mask, making pretty much a spiral to stay as close to home as possible. The amount of people still happily blocking the whole sidewalk and not budging when you come close, talking to neighbours without masks, strolling around far from home,.... Uggh. The people I see posting on Facebook about their 100-miles-and-more biking tours, uggggh.

Seriously, I mean, most of the civilized world isn't as bad as the USA because our politicians are just incompetent rather than actively trying to kill off parts of the population, but the population themselves happily helps along.

Talked with my mom today about how I'm worried about the confused messages from our government, and how Trump is always lying. Turns out his claims that the virus will just disappear, and that we'll have a vaccine by the end of the year aren't him lying, they're just him trying to provide hope, and I can't prove that there aren't any doctors who told him that those things would happen.

Hope based on lies is false hope.
Which, of course, they'll never believe.
More and more, I'm convinced that either Trump will be re-elected, or there will be blood in the streets and violence.

Trumpers all think he is playing 4d chess with the media to make the media look gullible.
My mom kept going on about how he had a "right" to say whatever he wants during the press briefings. Wouldn't listen at all about his duty to deliver a clear message during a crisis.

While I feel for those states where they're easing restrictions soon (too soon, in my opinion) I'm selfishly glad that they're being the canary in the coal mine. We're still on lockdown for 6 weeks.

I mean, he has to be, right? Otherwise they're tragically misled idiots too stupid to go out in public, and THAT can't be right.... it CAN'T be!

Yeah I talked to a friend of mine and I let him know my views have pretty much changed. Fuck it. Open up everything. So many people are going to die, but that's going to happen anyway thanks to these fucking morons. So let's let them go ahead and kill each other. Who will die? Grandpa, grandma, old people. Trump's base and the backbone of the republican party. People are just fucking stupid.

I'm just so amazed at the stupidity and callousness of people.
Unfortunately poor communities and major cities are also more at risk. Are Republicans going to loose more because of old people, or are Democrats going to lose more because more get infected (denser populations in cities, more of them working service jobs, etc.), fewer have access to proper healthcare, and possibly may have higher rates of co-morbidities (i.e. diabetes and heart disease among black people.)

The Indonesian Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, the Japanese earthquake that led to the Fukushima Meltdown, and now a Global Pandemic.

Ever get the feeling we are in a SIM game where the player has gotten bored and is now just unleashing disasters?

Actually, what it's feeling like to me is that we're in a SIM game where someone is using the FUND cheat so many times that we get the disasters. But they don't care, they just keep FUNDing.
