Serious option: He's lying to avoid another debate. That did not go well for him, and will go worse if he has to be harnessed like a child during it. He says he's sick, can't show up, and then recovers in time for the election.

Nah. Two weeks should be enough time that he'll be ok by the next debate. If he's still sick at that point then there are questions as to his health. Not to mention he can't do his rallies now which he enjoys doing.

Ya, the fact he would also have to give up rallies during this time is the only big thing that makes me think it's real and not just a get out debate card. It's more likely he would have found another lie if that was the case.

On the bright side guys? We likely won't see Trump for the next week. If he gets a fever it's unlikely they are going to put him on TV or have him do interviews. Let's enjoy the calm for a little bit.

Only matters if they take away his phone and Twitter access. Can you image him spending all day in bed with Fox News or OHM running.

First Hope Hicks, then Trump and Melania, and now Ronna McDaniel, Chairwoman of the RNC. Looks like the the nasty virus has made it over the social distancing wall between the plebs and the republic elite, and now all the "we don't need to wear masks" republicans are seeing exposure.

I expect more and more testing positive in the coming days. If one of the top aids and now Trump has it, that means it's likely gotten around to a lot of people.

Not Pence though, because Pence was probably in his sacrificial rejuvenation chamber at the time.

I don't think he's lying to get out of a debate. If he wants out he'll just say that Joe is too rude to him. He might be lying to say it's not a big deal and order everything to go back to how it was and outlaw masks or something. Maybe masks are making it harder to identify protesters?

Also him not tweeting since yesterday (and the last tweet totally not being from him) makes me wonder if he just went downhill fast and the White House is trying to keep it hush hush.

Pelosi was also pinged about chain of command things, in case Pence also gets sick.

They're supposedly doing an experimental treatment on him which either means they're gonna try to push some miracle cure or he's doing much worse than they're saying since if you only have mild symptoms all you need is bedrest.

Also stated that they are landing the helicopter in a place cameras won't be able to see the president get on the chopper.
