Funny Pictures Thread. It begins again

Okay I know their national birth rate has been tanking lately, but it seems like there are other things they could’ve tried first.

I know (guess) that the title is not the real one but there is no way this is not a homo erotic novel with a picture like this.
The original book is "Chrome" by George Nader.
It's a 1978 scifi novel about the forbidden love between a man and a machine.

I haven't read it, but according to a review I read its first half is a beautiful homo erotic love story, and the second half misogynistic fascist propaganda against "free love", "female equality" and "improper breeding".

Well, that's a roller coaster of a review.

#11 is too close to home, too often.
#21 brings back uncomfortable memories.
#31 was in my head at the same moment.
#40 I have no idea what this is.
#44 All this phrase ever reminds me of is the "Neverending Story" bit from Robot Chicken.
#50 "Aw, man. Center blimp got 'im."

Vlad Tepes, pre-dracula, in his armor, from Bram Stoker's Dracula.

That movie is a masterwork of visuals. It's not a great MOVIE movie (I love it), but it's glorious in all it's absolutely insane practical effect work (like there's only one digital effect in the whole fucking movie). I think because it was entirely filmed in a studio, it has a very play-like old timey golden age of movies feel to it.

#6 - I feel called out. Maybe some of us have a clogged duct and can't stop looking like we're crying, huh???

I have plenty of ass and tits... *sniff*

#4 brought back memories. The Schoolastic Book Fair was da bomb.
As did 8. I too have heard the dulcet tones of this particular version of Pavarotti.

What I meant was, don't like @@Li3n hear you (lets see if bbcode works)
You mean the one that never says his name as Tzepesh?

And they refer to him as being "Vlad of Szekely", making him hungarian, like in the book (even though he wouldn't have spoken romanian then, but lets not get into that transylvanian can of worms) ?

Yes. Nuclear storage facilities pretty much look like the Pyramids do to us: highly secure facdilities with a bunch of things hidden away and protected. People are afraid that future generations will try to break in to rob the vault/steal the treasures and unleash nuclear waste and radiation unknowingly.
"Danger", "toxic", whatever don't work to keep people out - statements that there is nothing of worth and it is repulsive have been found to be more effective.
"this where we buried our Great Leader" = "here be trasure"
"this is dangerous" = "probably cool stuff and maybe weapons and so on"
"this is trash and repulsive" = "garbage disposal"
