I don't really hate the characters but I am indifferent to a lot of them. I'm mostly into the show for the zombie gore. I think it's mainly a problem of going through all the different show runners though. A lot of characters I wasn't sure who they were and why I should care if they live or die...

Can't go into it too much right now but generally in terms of the characters and their development.

Yeah the show almost never gets the writing right but their cinematography is generally solid.
