McDoc makes me want Michael J Fox as Launchpad and Christopher Lloyd as Scrooge.

Put a couple hours into CrossCode now that it's gotten a few updates, and it's pretty fun. Once you get the hang of it, combat and movement make exploration entertaining, and there's plenty of side-quests and a leveling/skill point system to sink your RPG teeth into (along with items/equipment).

[Movies] Talk about the last movie you saw 2: Electric Threadaloo

Yeah, it does a great job of laying this foundation of dread and then just building on it through the whole movie. Then it hits you with that door scene. My stomach sank, it was the first time in awhile a movie gave me that genuine "oh fuck that" sense of fear maybe ever.

Yeah, after skipping through the video again I feel like he should have leaned more on pushing the procedurally generated and/or branching quests similar to how Warframe does things. The video and his description of OW/sandbox don't really fit.

Holy fucking shit you guys To be fair, going on and on about OPEN WORLD and SANDBOX GAME but just showing a map screen is kind of shitty, but they sound like they're applying a lot of what works in PoE's Seasons and such.

It changes the ending, depending on whether you made it through without a kill or went all God of War on them.

Huh, article I found says they're hoping to have a total of six movies. Well, I really enjoyed 1-3, and as nice an ending as 3 had I guess if they could keep up the quality I wouldn't mind more.

Kung Fu Panda 3 is a great way to cap off the movies, and I honestly hope it's the last one. It was funny, the action was a treat to watch, and the cinematography and use of color was outstanding.

[Movies] The Upcoming Movies Trailer Thread

Yeah, the lonesome sound of the guitar coupled with Cash's old, tired (but still great!) voice are the perfect soundscape for the feel of the movie. Two old, tired Mutants just trying to survive in a world that hates them more than ever.

He's spot on. It's more fun than you'd expect and much better than anything in the FF13 series. If you're still a FF fan, it's worth getting if you can.

Yeah, I'm not even going to expect anything decent out of it. On top of that there's Clerks 3 and the Mallrats sequel he apparently is now shopping around as a tv show or something, so I'm really on the fence about his future projects.

Washed the stink of Yoga Hosers off with Hotel Transylvania 2. I hate that I didn't give this or the previous movie (which I haven't seen yet) a chance, because it was fantastic. Hilarious, fun, and the animation was so expressive it amazed me. Definitely need to get ahold of the first movie now.

[Movies] Talk about the last movie you saw 2: Electric Threadaloo

I swear this movie is just a vehicle for Depp and Smith's kids. One speaks French for no reason, they sing, and then Ralph Garman does a bunch of kind of okay impressions while he exposition dumps all over about 15 minutes of the movie. I'm glad Smith can just make whatever he wants, but it...

Tusk was stupid, but strangely entertaining. Yoga Hosers might be the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
