I'm trying to read through more of the Discworld books in story order rather than the haphazard and sometimes backwards order I've been reading them. I went from Guards Guards to The Fifth Elephant and knew I'd missed a few in the Watch series.
So I've been looking at Men at Arms, but the "novel" is out of print, apparently, while "the play" is available. I'm trying to find out if this is just a joke, or if this is actually a play and not the real book. This Stephen Briggs has apparently adapted a few of the Discworld books for the stage and I don't know what I'm buying anymore. I'm not even sure this person is real or if Pratchett just gave Cut Me Own Throat Dibbler a real life identity with a pen name.
