Former President Trump Thread

Word is, he's taking Air Force One while he's still legally president so that he doesn't have to (like other presidents before him) ask permission from the incoming administration.
Ah, so cowardly and arrogant at the same time.

Plot twist: at 7:55am, Pence invokes the 25th, the officer with the football does not board the plane, and the flight diverts to Gitmo.
Or, the flight is still in the air at 12:01 pm... and the flight crew and secret service agents immediately bail out with parachutes.

And then bill the family for the damage to the plane.

And then there's this. If he waits too long to issue pardons, Biden could rescind them?

Oh! I've seen this one! The airplane is tricked out so they think it's flying south, but at 12:01 pm, they open the hatch to discover that it flew to New York City instead. Trump looks confounded as the process servers and deputies move in. He tries to get answers from the crew, but Jim Phelps and the team just walk away as the music starts.

Making him the villain is why I hated the first Mission: Impossible movie, and won't watch the others.
Agreed, that was such a horrible and unnecessary change to the character.

Though starting from the second movie onwards they're basically Mission Impossible in name only. Instead of a team coming together with their own individual talents to complete a mission, it becomes Tom Cruise being Tom Cruise while his team members provide occasional support.

Trump pardons Steve Bannon as one of his final acts in office

Trump's last-minute pardons include Bannon, Lil Wayne and scores of others

"Other names included Tuesday were Elliott Broidy, a former top fundraiser for Trump's campaign who pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy relating to a secret lobbying campaign to influence the Trump administration on behalf of a foreign billionaire in exchange for millions of dollars."

"Trump also offered clemency to Paul Erickson, the conservative political operative and ex-boyfiend of alleged Russian spy Maria Butina, who pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money laundering charges; Robin Hayes, a North Carolina political donor convicted of trying to bribe officials; Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, convinced of federal charges including racketeering, extortion and the filing of false tax returns; William Walters, a professional sports gambler convicted of insider trading; and Aviem Sella, an Israeli air force officer who the US accused of being a spy."

Now they just need to find one of these $2 million payments to Trump and get him on another charge of abusing the powers of the office.

And the M:I movies are all awesome. Even the 1st one cause our most well-rounded heroes are going to have breaking points.

The list was at least better than I expected. It shows how obviously corrupt he is, but it could have been worse. And I’m sure Bannon has done plenty of shit that will catch up with him still.

Holy Fuck, Dolt45 just claimed to hold the record for most votes received by a president. He's still claiming that he won not only the election, but that he won the popular vote as well. He can't even go one speech without making multiple blatant lies.

It wouldn't even be that frustrating if it wasn't for the fact that there are so many dumbasses who believe him.

Sadly that's probably true IF you're counting the total number of votes received in every election a candidate stood in his total number exceeds Obama even though Obama won the popular vote both times & Trump lost it both times.

Oh, unless maybe FDR's 4 elections moves him into first place? Although with America's smaller population then, maybe not?

22,821,277 + 27,752,648 + 27,313,945 + 25,612,916 =103,500,786

Holy fuck I'd love to read this. And it will be obvious if Trump wrote it or someone else did and he just signed it. And was it written in pen, crayon, or just scrawled there using a finger dipped in his dirty diaper?

Meh. He's already run away like a coward. Worst case scenario at this point still has him nowhere near the Oval Office.
