97% because one reviewer thought it was nice that Marvel wasn't taking itself seriously for once?25 Reviews, still at 100%. My hype glands are exploding.
Super big spoiler so don't look if you don't want shit spoilered.
Man, we live in a world where a near perfect comic representation of fucking Thanos made it into movies, Galactus was deemed "too silly" and Wonder Woman has yet to appear in a film.
Same thing with me and my best friend. I'm going tonight, but he will want to wait. The gf doesn't want to brave the opening weekend crowds, so I have one ticket for tomorrow afternoon. If it's as good as I think it will be, then we can definitely see it together next week on my birthday. Somehow I don't think I'd mind watching it twice.
My folks are like this too, but I can't wait so I'll just go again in a week or so.Same thing with me and my best friend. I'm going tonight, but he will want to wait.
From what I remember there was never any torrents of blood but if they got in a scuffle there would be visible injuries. There is a scene that I thought might be frightening for younger kids toward the end. I won't tell how it's happening but take a look if your curious as to what is happening to them.Is there any movie violence outside the norm that would make it unwatchable for an 8 year old? I am not really concerned about language.
There was an interview where Chris Pratt said the hardest part for him was not making the "pew-pew" laser sounds when shooting. He was like, "Okay, every time I've had a plastic laser gun in my hands since I was five years old, I've gone *pew-pew-pew* with it. Now, suddenly I'm in this movie, and they give me the most awesome plastic laser gun ever, and they keep getting mad and having to stop when I go *pew-pew*!"

Spoiler Question:
Did I miss something toward the end...? Rocket goes from immediately crying that Groot died to "it's cool, I'm growing him in a pot" just seems like there was a scene or something missing there.
To answer your question:I don't think Rocket knew the scope of Groot's regenerative ability until the sprout started reforming at the end.
Did anyone find Nathan Fillion? I was keeping an eye out and I don't know where he was, apparently he was supposed to show up as one of the aliens for his cameo?
I think my only disappointment was Thanos being CGI. The rest of the makeup work was so damned good, I wanted to see him as the same. Still though, Brolin's the right man for the job. That fucking smile as Ronan left his throne room, man.
