Ignored thread still showing forum as unread/new

So I've discovered that if I mark a thread to be ignored in a forum, whenever that thread is bumped that forum will still show up as having new content, and will forever become unread unless I go in and manually click to have that forum marked as read.

This is pretty annoying, is there any way to just have ignored threads already considered read?

That's a tricky one.

I can't attempt to fix it myself, as it is a paid mod and I'm not the one with the account that paid for it. So I can't update it.

Of course, that's assuming that updating it will fix this. There's a lot of patch notes and changes for it, but we've still got version 1.0.0 installed.

Also we would need to be careful not to update it further than version 2.0.7 because the next update after that, 3.0.0 and up, requires Xenforo 2.2.x.
