Hela's OP as hell, but the devs, being idiots like usual, decided that instead of nerfing Hela, they're going to introduce Surtur's Ragnarok form to balance out Hela's OPness. Adding more OP to balance an OP fighter never works out. I wouldn't be surprised if there's literally no one playing in Asgard soon.

I was taken out of the moment a couple of times as well. Also, it was definitely not an adaptation of Planet Hulk. It had none of the emotional elements of the story, for one. As long as you don't expect it to be a Hulk movie, though, I think it is fine.
No, Mr. Z felt the same way. He really enjoyed it, but like Wonder Woman, when everyone around him is raving about it, and it isn't the "most amazing movie he's ever seen!!!1", he feels let down.
I, on the other hand, loved it, and hope I see it again soon.

Planet Hulk was exactly what the Incredible Hulk book needed to be, Giving the character a clean slate after the terrible ending to the Bruce Jones era, the nonsense that was Peter David’s Tempest Fugit, and the horrible character assasination done by JMS over in Fantastic Four.
Having said all that I 100% agree with you, the story was kind of average.

I agree. Fox's recent X-Men outings (Deadpool, Logan, etc) have been decent enough. Their take on the New Mutants might also be interesting. Their F4 movies, however, have been consistently bad. Give the Fantastic 4 back to the people who "get" the Fantastic 4. Or, at least, stop horribly miscasting Dr. Doom.
Don't forget that Age of Apocalypse wasn't that long ago. And it was pretty ridiculous, and not in a good way.
Eh, I didn't hate Age of Apocalypse. It wasn't great, but there were some good parts in it, and there are plenty of worse X-Men films around to make AoA look better. I'm certainly excited, but...I don't know, is it just me or is the trailer lacking a big, iconic selling point?

I'm already seeing the movie; I'm sick of the trailers giving away the big moments.
Maybe they're saving it for a later trailer. After all, it took the second (or third) Civil War trailer to have "Underoos!" "... hi everyone."
That's true. Compare it with the first Avengers trailer and the most iconic stuff like I mentioned wasn't shown until later trailers:
(Also, I'm glad trailers have moved away from some tropes like "funny vibrating sound between cuts like Transformers!" and really bad rock music that doesn't suit the final product.)
I loved the trailer, personally. Just seeing all those guys together was "the big moment" for me, especially the stinger. We all know who they are now, I feel like it didn't need more. And yes, I like surprises. I still cover my ears and close my eyes for every trailer/commercial and skip every article/discussion for The Last Jedi because I've tired of being spoiled. I want to go in knowing as little as possible and be wowed.
Plus, we know there are a whole bunch of characters that weren't in the trailer that will be in the films (because other articles have shown them in group shots). The part that's making me nervous/anxious is that so many of the Phase 1 actors' contracts end with the Infinity movies. I am going to cry big, ugly tears if anyone gets killed off. Yes, I know unlike the comics, these guys can't stay young and around forever, but after waiting a lifetime to see them up on the big screen, I feel like the casting has been perfect and I just don't want it to end!

Certainly one of the big three (Cap, Thor, Tony). My money's on Tony. He started this whole thing, he's been the central motivating factor for several movies, and it'd be a good way to cap it all off.
On the other hand, killing off Cap opens the door for Bucky or Falcon to take over in the role.
Either way, if I were writing this? It'd end with Thanos locking the final gem into his gauntlet. The heroes, already beaten and pushed to their limits, rush him.
Thanos smirks, raises the gauntlet, and powers it up.

My own theory (and why they haven't released the title of Avengers 4.
Big final battle. Both sides taking losses. On the good guys, Cap or Tony bite it, but the Avengers fight on, eventually driving Thanos back through some Macguffin we haven't heard about it. He leaves through the original portal and takes his army with him, pointing out Earth isn't worth his time now.
Cut to medical room scene. Heroes mourn their fallen comrade. Brings together disparate groups as one and mends fractured alliances from Civil War. They walk out of the room, and the dead hero reverts to a skrull.
Smash Cut to Black.
Avengers will return in Avengers: Secret Invasion.
With Captain Marvel coming out in March 2019 and incorporating skulls, this would be the perfect tie in to the last Avengers movie.
I'll be in my bunk.My theory is that the stinger for Infinity War will feature Milana Vayntrub standing over an unconscious Thanos.
