This one makes me kind of sad. She was only 31.

I'm not much of an America's Got Talent watcher so I only learned about her after she left the show, but for those who don't know she was an incredibly talented and gracious contestant. Unfortunately she also had incurable cancer. She went through immediately to the live rounds, but had to back out due to poor health.



And even though I hate the obvious manipulation, the clip of her audition is pretty cool.

I saw the news earlier this morning and it's heartbreaking. She had such horrible odds to overcome the cancer. I wanted to share her optimism but...those odds were just so high.

Awww. Yeah, she really was very talented, and her optimism and mental strength were perhaps even more admirable.
