Dammit, I hope he left notes on how it's supposed to end. I know the next is due out this Halloween. He said there's an endpoint to the story. I hope he told someone what it was.

I was serious, too. If I don't ever find out Romero's end plan for the story, I'm going to reverse haunt him. That's where you show up in the afterlife and just do ordinary things, like get ready for work.

And you say "Oob" a lot.
 
Misread this topic at first.
That's the trouble with having the phrase "living dead" in a Brazelton thread.

Night of the Living Dead still holds up after all these years. That's pretty amazing on its own; more so that it pretty much started zombies as we know them, as opposed to what they had been before that. It's one thing to have created a memorable character, it's another to have left such a noticeable mark on the cultural landscape.
