Sam Lloyd passed away a year after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. He was best known for his role as Ted on Scrubs, but he also appeared on numerous other shows.

Oh no. I had read about his diagnosis a while back, but hadn't heard anything recently, so I guess I got my hopes up.

Me, looking at the picture: "Isn't that Vincent Schiavelli? He's been dead for a while now."
Full disclosure--neither of us have ever seen Scrubs.

This is heartbreaking. Not only did he always seem like a genuinely good guy, but he was hilarious. I don't think anyone would argue if I said he was the secret MVP of Scrubs.
