WTF?!?

Another death recently.

Golly gosh darn you Tom Brazelton (wherever you are.)

edit: Found along with a woman in a condominium, both shot. Love triangle?

Steve McNair shot and killed

McNair, 36, and an unidentified woman were found dead in a condominium, a Nashville police spokesman told reporters at an impromptu news conference near the property.
Sounds to me like an angry husband/boyfriend could be the culprit.

Latest news reported on the Pittsburgh local news was that the woman was his girlfriend, and it was her condo.

The news hits hard around here because of all the times he went up against the Steelers. He'll be missed.

Pssst, that's a baseball reference Ed. Might want to edit that. :slywink:
That was a total screen play?? or a quarterback sacked?

This is roughly 90% of the news in Nashville this weekend. Looks like a murder-suicide by the girlfriend.

Yep. Police said they found a gun under her body.

This was an Other Woman. McNair was married with kids.

He was a passenger in her car when she got popped for DUI a day or so before. Could this have been what set the whole sorry episode off?

I feel very sorry for his wife and kids, for several reasons.
Running around as he was, yes, I feel sorry for them, too. Hopefully his estate will take care of them.

Maryland fan here. Absolutely and completely shocking that this happened to one of our Ravens especially since he always seemed like the last guy who this would happen to.

And is especially shocking because of the huge debate this last season about whether we should move McNair in as Quarterback when he recovered from his injuries or continue to play Flacco who was still a rookie.

Never heard of the guy before. But that's just because I don't follow sports but it is sad none the less.

Ah, shit! I hadn't heard about this one. Loved that guy.

However, I'm a bit less apt to be all sad about someone's death when he's fucking around on his wife and gets popped by his girlfriend.

I feel the same way. You can't stay at home with your family? Feel bad for your wife and kids. His legacy with them will be the cheating asshole who's girlfriend capped him. Nice legacy.
