SO I started out livetweeting my thousandth viewing of Scream like I do. Then on a whim, I tweeted at Lena Dunham, the super talented writer/director/actress/creator of Girls.

it took me a really long time to explain to my dad what twitter was, who lena dunham was, what a retweet was, what replying to someone was, what a follower was, and then I gave up before I got to Chris Connelly and buzzfeed

I understand, but that gives me no personal frame of reference. I suppose I could look her up on IMDB and see what else she's done. I don't watch Girls, know anything about Girls, or care about Girls. But I rather doubt I'm their demographic.

There's actually a lot of shitting on Neil. I've heard that he's really arrogant and talks down to people. I think it mostly stems from the fact that he knows his stuff. He's a pretty public figure and I know from experience we scientists can come off as pricks to the layman.
