[Gaming] Diablo 3 : Ser Farm-A-Lot

Would really like to push my WD damage in the 1 Million range so I can step it up to Torment 5 or even 6.
My Wizard's damage is about 1.1mil, but he still can't go much above T4.
So squishy.
Maybe some day I can be like this guy:

Notice that he's hitting for > 1 billion in white damage (not crit). With that kind of damage output, you could conceivably one-shot Malthael* in a 2P T1 game (believe he has 1.3bil in 2P T1).

*Well, two-shot him, really. The game won't let you kill him in one shot, he has to be allowed to do his whole THIS IS NOT EVEN MY FINAL FORM thing.

This is actually my goal. Since the RoS expansion was the last update I'll ever see for Xbox 360, I don't have to worry about strange changes. It's a blessing and a curse, to be honest.

And wow, 1 billion is NUTS. I can't even conceive of doing 100x the damage I currently do.

Rerolling items is REALLY starting to piss me off. Stone of Jordan just won't roll anything but poison damage and I seriously need a plus to fire. So obnoxious!

More frustrating than anything is enchanting only one of the aspects in a given item. I have a couple great items which if I hadn't enchanted the wrong thing in my early days they would be superb items now. Sadly, now I have to hope to get those items to drop again, which took FOREVER before.

Le sigh.

Oh, and I've never seen a Zunimassa set item, which makes me a little sad.

Welcome to the club!
To be fair, the game has changed enough since the x.0 release to the point that optimizing items is probably different now.

It will be. Tough though when my damage is at the 850k range and what I need to up that isn't dropping!
850k is plenty to work on your paragons (says the guy with normal P175 chars, seasonal P149, and a Hardcore P120).
Just play multi.
Also, be happy to give a bit of advice if you have a link to your profile (can you do that on console?).

Yeah, it's working pretty quick here. I'd say one set of 5 quests plus a Rift run tends to get me a level. I'm a little scared of what I'll be seeing in 30 Paragon levels though. Want to get up to 1 Million to get to the right sweet spot and move on from Torment 4 to Torment 5.

I've never played with someone else.

That Monk that I did at Torment 6? Her sheet DPS is only 520k.
Like I said, 850k should be plenty, depending on how you have things distributed.

Monks have better defenses overall. My Witch Doctor is definitely a glass cannon and would get creamed by elites at T6. I could probably up to T5 and do ok though. The goal is to be 1.3 million to make T6 a smooth ride when I get there.

What I need more than anything is to find the item which makes my Templar invincible. That would make things insanely easier.

Yeah, good luck. I've found two of the "can use all skills" ones, but none of the "free licks" ones.

--Patrick
I have two All Skills, one for the Rogue and one for the Templar. I found the Does Not Die for the Mage. I've had some great luck so far, so hopefully someday it will drop.

Have a great run going, and apparently solo'ing on the 360/PS3 have a better drop rate since they aren't updating those consoles.

Oh, and I BARELY took down a Rift Guardian on Torment 5. Cripes, that was tough! Still, died once.

Hey, in my T6 run I only died to two groups of frozen + arcane enchanted elites. I didn't die at all to the guardian.

This one really hates me and kills me a lot. It's the guy who takes 2/3 of your life and then charges at you. Really hate that one!

Oh, you were just saying that they hit you hard enough to take away that much life, not that this is their boss power.

Try playing T1 multiplayer. Your farming rate goes up quite noticeably when there are three other people in the game. If you can do T4 pretty reliably, then you should be able to do T2 or maybe even T3 with 3 other people. Each additional player in game adds something like 10% to exp and MF/GF, and that is multiplicative to your other bonuses, not additive.

I can probably get my wife to play (she's expressed interest). That would probably be about it though. I tend to treat these games pretty solitaire.

Community event today, granting 100% experience increase (not additive, but cumulative.) I just gained more than half a level on one bounty.

T6 isn't too bad as long as you don't mind the occasional death. I just find that some of the elites have a random mix of skills that just suck and mean I will die. Multiplayer gives loot find and exp bonuses. The fastest I have leveled has been in T6 4 player. At a certain point though the experience between paragon levels gets insane.

Well, now I'm running on Torment 6, though to be honest I haven't seen a benefit yet. I switched from the Templar to the Enchantress follower and my damage has gone up considerably in doing so. Plus, she has the token which makes her invincible, so there's that.

Still, haven't found much which makes me think there is a big difference between T5 and T6. I did, however, find Carnevil, which is pretty groovy. If I ever get my Zuni set I could really rock that.

All in all I'm Paragon 230 and doing 880k according to the lying screen.
