My household has had shitty turnip prices across all 4 of our islands every week. Surely next week they'll improve right?
That said, one of my friends from college had a boom this week, so it was ok.

I did that too yesterday. Bought at 98 and sold at 613. Made 3 million.
It's gotten better since they toned down the spawn rate but my problem wasn't so much that the eggs were there or that you could make things and sell them.
My issue was if I needed stone and went and bashed a rock until I couldn't get any more out, seeing only one drop was so frustrating, especially since it then meant I needed to use a NMT if I was out of rocks to hit on my own island. Just to get a few stones. It just felt like an artificial way to slow people down, in a series that is already by definition is tied to the actual clock.

If you don't like building and collecting, it gets boring.
Lots of crappy games from yesteryear have been ported to switch, so that's nothing new
Nintendo made it a point that they aren't going to censor their platform anymore, it's why there are now a bunch of ecchi visual novels available now.
That and, once the drama of that particular game died down everyone realized it wasn't really that controversial and also kinda sucked.
