I'm going to have to steal that name sometime in the future, and claim I came up with it myself. When questions arise regarding your input, I will claim to never have met you, saying that I came up with it independently.

These days I like to just go with my real name, or I guess preferred nick name. It's easy to remember and I don't feel as silly when trying to make an argument or something. I feel better knowing that someone is going to read my opinion on something coming from a guy named phil instead of captain_underpants23

I don't. I feel like a sig kind of gives a bit of insight into the person a little more. Or it can link to whatever they're into which is nice sometimes.
