I know this will not mean anything to 100% of you. But a broadcaster that was in my home every weekday morning of my youth has just passed away. He was like the Less Nessman of TV in East Texas. He talked like me and he was smart and personable. He actually forecasted a Blizzard in East Texas using the Farmers Almanac, where all the meteorologist at the time missed it.
