Italian Beef sandwich. My wife randomly bought a big thing of giardinera so it seemed like the thing to do. Really was delicious and since it was in the crockpot, could be a good football Sunday meal. Only issue was the buns I got were too small.
You can do what you want, but every college class I had that counted attendance points took the attendance at the start. I suppose this could lead to people signing in and leaving but I don’t think that was actually a major occurrence for my classes.
I think it’s also that the best male recruits are only in college for one year so the men can have experience beat sheer talent but the women stay longer so they have both.
You say it doesn’t mean anything but it actually is indicative of the biggest problem with women’s basketball: the talent is super concentrated in the top few teams so there are way fewer huge upsets, which is a big part of the fun of the tournament.
They do it because the schools offer good health insurance, a decent salary, student loan forgiveness, and a good pension plan.
Or at least here that’s it.
Ignoring the hellscape that is America, my wife is a teacher and her union has a sick bank program where you can donate 1-4 sick days a year and get 10x the days back if you have a qualifying need. Its doubled her maternity leave time.
