Also, I'm unsure if credit score works the same in Canada, but if it doesn't have fees, I wouldn't cancel the second card because it reduces your "available credit" and will lower your credit score.
So the main point though is that if you don't have children at steady intervals, your population ages and stops working and then dies. Or, if you do build but wait too long, they die and leave a lot of orphans who also die.
It's a super delicate balance because you also do actually need to build houses early or else you don't grow enough to have enough labor to get enough food. This game is soooo punishing until you learn it for sure.
I went to see Civil War and it was not as good as I wanted it to be. I knew what it was going in, I was excited for it, but i felt kind of let down. It definitely had a vibe it was going for, but it didn't feel like it was executed well, except in a couple of spots.
