I was in Costco a couple of weeks ago and noticed they had dropped the price well in advance to the official price drop date. I thought, hey, I can get a 3DS and the 20 games for cheap. Then I remembered, "Oh yeah, I don't want one," and didn't buy one.
I also clicked on this thread without a 3DS.

No 3DS, but I clicked your thread. Just because you're Jay.

All you need to do is use the store once to be registered. Super easy.

Gamestop is having a coupon deal for PowerUp members (like me!), trade in your DSLite and get a 3DS for $99.
I'm wondering if I should bother though. I like that pricing, but for all I know, Nintendo will drop the price themselves to $50 or something by October. I don't want to feel like I bought one of these things only for the price to nosedive, like a lot of people did.

I'm still pretty happy with my 3ds, even if I only play two games on it.

I mostly use my 3DS to play Pokemon Black but I still am happy I got it cause there are some great games coming out soon.

I only got it because my kids broke my DS lite and I figured I might as well just get ready for the new games now. RED ONE IN SEPTEMBER NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Is it wrong that I qualify, but don't care about the free games? I've got (most) of them on other systems, and was pretty much done with them years ago. That, and I'm leery about taking my 3DS online.
