Funny comic, but...

Mario was a carpenter before he was a plumber, that's how he got his start in Donkey Kong. Saving Pauline from the big ape, on a construction site. He also worked in a cement factory for a while.

He's also done the pilot thing before, as well. In Super Mario Land he used a submarine and an airplane, both with projectile weapons.

I wonder what a complete list of Mario jobs/hobbies would include? Juggler, referee, painter, athlete (tennis, baseball, basketball, hockey, golf, etc.), doctor, toy maker, race car driver... Good grief, I think only the fictional character with more jobs may be Barbie.

I wonder if LeQuack will be along to complain about Mario's use of excessive force?

Those Goombas were just minding their own business, not hurting anyone. Mario was profiling.

Mario has some issues. I mean he could avoid confrontation altogether and resolve this peacefully. But noooooo.. he has to go out and eradicate everyone in his path.

If you have the interest and a little money, look up Johnathan Mann's Mario Rock Opera on iTunes. He uses rock/electronic/acoustic remixes of various Mario scores to tell the story of a man who has is fiancee kidnapped on his wedding day and struggle with the moral dilemmas involved in killing his opposition in getting her back, all the while noting the deja vu that he's done this all trillions of times before.

It's pretty awesome. :)

There was also a plunger min-game in one of the Mario Party games, and his baseball bat in a baseball game.
