@Li3n

Now if he'd only do it twice a month, then i might actually bother visiting the site.

#4

Dave

Dave

2 times a month for him would be taxing.

#5

@Li3n

@Li3n

Well they invented Viagra now... he should just save some money for it.

#6

bhamv3

bhamv3

Aww, that was nice. Thought it would turn out to be a Gift of the Magi type of thing, but this is probably better.

#7

Shegokigo

Shegokigo

Well I'm sure he started on it sometime around Thanksgiving so it makes sense.

Chibibar

It really depends on the story, do you need to play each game to understand it?

Sure. Like Xenosaga, each is a continuation from the previous (unlike FF series)

I think you mean to say "just like every other series except FF".

Not necessarily, you could play Fallout 3 without playing the first two. I think the only link between Fallout 3 and the first two games is Harold.

#22

Green_Lantern

Green_Lantern

But, Dungeon Guy 2, features Son of Dungeon Guy, so it must have a story directly related to the first, right?

It's actually a prequel.

#24

At the end of the game, Son of Dungeon Guy dies, thus motivating his adventures in the first game

Oh, that explains the first scene in Dungeon Guy, thanks.

But they take place in the same world... while FF games don't.

Spin-off and expansions don't count.

FF12 and FFtactics are said to take place in the same world, though I didn't get far enough in either to be able to really tell.

ok. a sequel like FFXII and FFXII Revant wings are sequel so they are of the same world. I think the original argument of each SERIES. i.e. FFX vs FFIV etc etc are not of the same world (at least I don't think so)

now I haven't play Tactic and A2 Tactic, are they of the same world as FFXII?? If it is then I retract my statement above.

#32

@Li3n

@Li3n

Those are still spin-offs... but it does look like soon enough FF will go the way of everything else instead of keeping the thing that made it stand out...

#33

Shegokigo

You said "same world" and they're in the EXACT same world. So yeah, it counts.

Responding to a post about the main Fallout series, no mention of Brotherhood of Steel or anything.

So, did anyone played Dungeons of Dungeon Guy On-line yet?

I had high hopes, but tried the free 10 days and it didn't hook me up...

The online portions where a bore especially since they completely nerfed all the best weapons stats down to practically zill. Not to mention they completely screwed up on the classes. Talk about unbalanced. And the whole "lose all your items and 50% of your XP every time you die is just brutal.

I hate that, but I always felt bored games were death is a valid option to go home quickly.

Zumbo Prime

I suspect it won't be long before Scott throws in the towel.

even though he rarely updates I will still be very sad if he ever stops making comics

Play a Shammie and that game is a breeze though. Nothing can touch you and you never die. Try it sometime.

DDGO totally shitted on DG canon just so they can make more money... NERD RAGE!

even though he rarely updates I will still be very sad if he ever stops making comics

If he didn't quit when updating more often made the comics loose some quality i doubt he'll do it now when they're back to being really good.

Why he doesn't update more often/
I'd imagine because he has more important things to do.
