Kayak. It's what's for dinner. The town I was an infant in, Half Moon Bay, is a hot spot for mature Great White Sharks. The sharks you see in Air Jaws from South Africa are adolescents, usually only 10-12 feet in length. They're more like 14 feet long and 500+ lbs heavier, probably a few years older as well.

This is just off of La Jolla or San Onofre (depends on what media outlet is showing the video). The guy was on a paddle board when he shot the video of the great whites.
