Have a happy Veterans Day but let us remember what this day is all about.

Happy Remembrance Day.

Thank you so much for all of you who served.

From a friend of mine who is an Army wife:
Every time you think your life is too hard, consider the Veterans, past and present. Consider their children, consider their spouses, but don't pity their widows...respect them. Today and always: If you see an older gentleman with a veteran's hat, stop, introduce yourself and say Thank You. It costs you nothing and could be the only time anyone has bothered to say it.

Good luck, gentlemen...

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the dead. Short days ago

Love not the war, but love the warrior.

Thank you, to every man and woman who fought, so that the rest of us could be at peace.

Thank you for all who have served and those who supported those that serve.

To those who still stand tall, and to those who have gone.
To those who stood at the Road of Raate and at Summa.
To those at the Mannerheim Line, Salla and Lapland.
To those who faced overwhelming odds but did not falter.
To those who despite sorrow, shame and loss safeguarded the independence of a free people.
