Amazon working with Playstation Network now?!

Since I was slightly bored tonight I checked up on upcoming releases for my PS3 and am surpised that now on Amazon you can buy games and that on their website instead of having to use the playstation console on the time. Interestint to see how this turns out.

I don't get how this is helpful. So, instead of going into the PSN store, browsing shit, easily checking out new releases and such, paying for it instantly with your account and downloading it there you want to pay for something with Amazon, then get the code they give you, go into the PSN store, enter the code, then download it? Why? Why bother?

Is there a gifting option in the PSN store? I can imagine this would be helpful to get people gifts of games on the PSN.

Very awesome, I wish I could buy games instantly for the X-Box that are not the limited Arcade Download Only options.
