NBC confirming that Don Pardo, 96, has passed away.

Yet another in the long line of famous voices from the soundtrack of your life.

He was 96!?! Damn, never knew he was that old.

Damn shame he couldn't a made to a nice even hundred, even so he lived a full life, his voice is the stuff of legends, and I hope he rests in peace.

That's right, Al. YOU LOST!

Well, at least we still have Gary Owens.

Wasn't he still doing the voice-overs for Saturday Night Live? It's going to feel weird the first time I don't hear him introducing the cast. I'm still getting used to not hearing Bob Sheppard at Yankee Stadium, especially with Jeter leaving.
