Finally after three long months, NASCAR is BACK!!!

This last week has been sooo long waiting for the daytona 500.

Anyone going to be watching the race?

My parents are huge fans, but it's not my cup of tea. Are you excited about the Earnhardt drama? Another NASCAR fan eager to see Jimmy Johnson lose?

I cheer for Dale Jr, Tony Stewart, and Carl Edwards.

Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon, i used to cheer for them to lose, until they became Dale jr's teammates. Now, it doesn't matter to me if they win or not. Like it or not, they are damn good drivers.

Kyle Busch on the other hand, I hate that kid. He is a stuckup, idiotic, dangerous little twerp. I always cheer when he wrecks. After I hear that he is ok of course.

No chance of rain, so no chance of the four hours of thumb-up-the-butt standing around when that happens.

But how many dozen caution laps will we see for a paper clip on the track miles off the racing line? How often will Fox call down for a "competition caution" because the drivers with the best Q ratings aren't up front or they need to stuff in the rest of the ads?

It's not racing when you spend 20% of your time in a high-speed holding pattern.

As referenced by my member name (as the first part stands for NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series - before it became sponsored by Camping World), I'm a NASCAR fan, though haven't really sat and watched a lot of races lately.

I am a Dodge fan, so I have a whole 4 cars to root for, though I will root for the 9 and 43 - my dad's been a Petty fan for most of his life - wish they were still in Dodges instead of Ford.

Truck series race on Friday night was a wreck-fest... The announcers even commented that out of the 36-truck field, only 5 had not been involved in a wreck and weren't damaged.

I'm not sure what I think of the pairs-racing that we'll probably see based off of the Shootout and the 150's.

Missed the first 60 laps. Had church then went a had lunch. Been a good race so far.
