Maybe it's just me here, but honestly the last month or so has been just lame. Too many Richard jokes and random useless comics, not enough plot advancement. I feel like I'm watching a filler arc or something.
Almost feels like Sohmer's not sure where to take the story, or he's scared to end it.

I used to check it asap on update days, now I find myself checking at the end of the week, if not after 3-4+ have built up.

Honestly, LFG has been awful at getting the right balance between silliness and seriousness for most of its run. There's just too much of a disconnect between the attempts at wacky, black humour and serious, epic storytelling, until it feels like we've got two separate comics unevenly sewn together.
