I was recently asked to make a customized version of my pentatonic theramin for them, and was curious if anyone here had heard of them, or recognized their music from anywhere else.
They produce art music, and have been described as dark ambient. Having ten albums and a long list of clients (lots of discovery, TLC, history, PBS, MTV, for instance) suggests they may be new to me, but not to others.
Anyway, just curious. I have only sampled their material so far, and since I can't afford the time or money to listen to everything, I'm hoping others might have a few suggestions of pieces that are fairly representative of them as a whole. I suppose I could ask them, but an outside view is useful.
