My club is considering writing/singing/filming a parody of The Guild's "Do You Wanna Date my Avatar" but we're not all that great at coming up with replacement lyrics.
I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in helping.
Our club runs an anime convention on our campus, and we were thinking of calling the new version "Do You Wanna Date Our Con Mascot."
We obviously wanna try to include lots of anime reference like the orignal does for MMOs.
I've got some ideas for lyric replacement, but not the whole thing.

I would certainly warn against parodying something that is already (or in this videos case, trying to be) funny. Kind of makes it lose its flair.
Let me rephrase- we're not parodying to make it funnier, we're parodying to promote our convention. We're going to have our con mascots and the cosplayed characters that will be on stage with them this year the ones in the video.
We're not doing it to be better-- because that probably won't happen-- we're doing it just to be fun and to have something to show our congoers for the hell of it.
