Anyone try the Arkham Asylum demo yet?

So far I've both versions on the ps3 and pc version excluding the 360 since I dont own one. On the console its pretty fluid whilst on the PC the controls are a bit spread and would recommend playing it on a 360 controller unless you have a decent sized keyboard I tried it out on my laptop so its more condensed.

Overall I'd recommend anyone even considering this game to try the demo out. The graphic novel thats exclusive to Amazon looks very cool.

I know with the PS3 version you get the Joker and the 360 you get the Scarecrow does PC get anything or does it get the Scarecrow as well?

It's a bummer the PC version got pushed till September 15th due to some Nvidia technical difficulties.

I haven't heard anything on the PC version, but I think the Scarecrow comes with pre-ordering the game through Gamestop. It should work for both PS3 and 360, I'm not sure about PC (as I haven't worked in a couple weeks), although the Joker's exclusive to PS3.

I'm downloading the demo for the PC right now; I would've downloaded it for my 360, but it red-ringed two days ago (again. Damn.), so I'm going to be borrowing a friend's console while it's repaired.

Played through it a couple of times on my PS3 today. It's sweet. Really sweet. However, I hope the difficulty levels go up pretty quick. The demo is easy as pie.

It's also incredibly short... i wanted to try it out before going to sleep saturday and i couldn't believed i finished it already...

It's a very short but very well done demo. Game looks very promising and I'll most likely buy it.

That new outfit for Harley Quinn was like... :bush:

Up until this week I wasn't really interested in this game at all, but after playing the demo it's been upgraded to a day 1 purchase. I was really impressed with the animations, and the voicework. The game mechanics in the demo weren't the most complicated or varied, but they work well, offer the potential for greater complexity down the road, and really make you feel like Batman. That's the best thing about it - that they got the feel of playing The Bat so right.

Played the demo and loved it (albeit it was short love, like usual :()

The myriad of movements and enemy takedowns are very impressive.

At one point in the demo I'm standing on a glass ceiling looking down at a gun wielding inmate below and I say to my wife "Damn, it'd be cool if the game would just let me smash through the glass and take him out."

One more step and the little action button popped up - crumpled the guy into a nice big heap :)

I just love the way that they've delayed the PC version for three weeks, to perfect the implementation of PhysX effects. That's really great for me with my Radeon 4870x2. Really great.

Yet I, with my double stacked 285 GTXs will benefit greatly!

Also, I had no interest in this game. I thought it looked like a lame ass brawler with shitty, shitty stealth shit added on top and really, it's a Batman game, was anyone expecting anything more? However, after the demo, I am very pleased to have been wrong in my assumptions and now await the game with great anticipation.
