I have finished HL2 more than once but you can never recapture that first time. :\

I never finished the sp game. I was a good ways unto it and lost like an hours worth if time so I said fuck it and stopped playing. It made me mad

Indeed. That feeling of...

"Oh shit all my weapons are gone, all I have is my gravity gun, which is all wonky now, and there are dozens of Combine coming at me with pulse rifles, what do I do, what do I do, what do I do..."
