Some software worth buying aren't games, so here's the apps on sale (*since everything is an app these days). Suitable for computer software, mobile device software (iphone, android, etc), web services and software, etc.
My first contribution - The Reddit iPhone app is free for today. Don't know if it's going to be free going forward, but it was 99 cents and now it's not.
A lot of app developers are disappointed by android sales. Even angry birds is ad supported, because android users don't buy apps as much as iphone users appear to.

While this may not be related to iPhone/Android apps, I'm posting this here since it's probably not worth it to create a separate thread:
I recently discovered AppSumo, which is a website that offers you deals for premium accounts in several web services or stores. For example, I recently got a Lifetime Premium account at letscrate.com for 12$ (the original price was over 100), which gives me a 10 GB space in the cloud to store and share files. It's worth checking out.

Runkeeper Pro is free until the end of the month for both IPhone and Android. You can even get Bluetooth heart rate monitors for it now.

Since I don't have a data plan, I've never had ads with Android Angry Birds. The ads came on when connected to wifi. Try going into airplane mode to play.
