Wish I had more warning for this one...my dad asked that I try to find a way to record the webcast from a show he's going to be in at the Sunburst Convention. Here's the site: http://www.myshownetwork.com/

Thing is, I don't even know if it's possible to record this. Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: It hasn't quite started yet, still setting up at the moment. My dad will be on eventually, and that's the only part I actually want to record.

One method is to use a webcam screen capture program to capture it. Webcammax is one - you point it at the part of the screen you want to get, and it turns it into a webcam for your system. Then you record it using some other webcam recording software (windows movie maker, for instance). There are other solutions similar to this.

Many laptops have TV out, so if you have one or find someone with one you can record it to VCR.

Also, another option is to use an online screen capturing service. http://www.screentoaster.com/ is one I've played with. Getting them to capture the audio might be interesting...

Good luck!
