5) Probably this double date situation thing in middle or high school. I was really excited to get a date with this girl, but it turned out she was just kind of going/wanting me there to have a double date for her friend. Pretty much like in Goodfellas, except we didn't hate-fuck each other.
4) Probably in high school two friends and I went over to a girl's house with her sister and another friend there. It was three guys and three girls of matching ages, so naturally we kind of paired off. The girl in question I had kind of been pining after for a bit. About right when we got alone hanging out in the pool together, her phone went off and she jumped out. Iiiiiiiiiiit was her ex-bf, and they somewhat got back together that night. And I sat there pretty bored and had to listen to my other two friends go on about their conquests on the way home.
3) End of 8th grade. The girl and I had been writing a bunch of cutesy notes back and forth in our yearbooks, and before the last day of school she was talking about this guy she had a huge crush on and she had to tell him. The way she talked about it made me think she was being really coy and talking about myself. Then it turned out to be on my best friend. They went on two dates over the summer and never really clicked or anything.
2) Told a girl I had been dating for a while I loved her. She reacted very badly and not how I really expected.
1) The only real big heart-breaker was the girl from last year. We dated for a while, everything seemed super close and we were hella into each other, and she broke up with me when I came back from a trip out of nowhere. It kind of messed me up for a while.
