Really worth a read and something I wasn't aware of watching their shows. Also, it gives mad props to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which is easily my favorite new show of the season and Andre Braugher as the Captain is definitely my main reason why. His character is fantastic.

Started watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine because of your endorsement... Captain Holt is hilarious. I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying the show.

Also, now I really want to watch Almost Human... I love sci-fi. I love androids...

My impression after the first episode was that it had a solid cast and interesting character design. It was also trite in its plot and setting, and the whole thing felt highly derivative. I'll keep an eye on it, but I need it to improve in those areas to keep my interest.[DOUBLEPOST=1384884656,1384884262][/DOUBLEPOST]Regarding the article, I sometimes notice just how white shows on NBC and CBS are. They can be good shows too, but they lack any real diversity outside of a few characters.

Maybe it's all a play to replace him with Danny Glover.

At this point, I wish they just would have ended it before the hiatus and been done with it.

I'm glad they mentioned New Girl in that article. I've repeatedly conciously registered in my head that Winston's character is remarkably well done. True, he's the least important character, but he's very three dimensional. He's also hilarious.

On the other side, you have Happy Endings setting gay rights, women's rights, and african american rights back by decades with each episode.
