LittleSin, WildSoul, Lauralai, and I all have new(ish) babies?

We must raise a Halforum army!

Of babies!

Are there any expecting halforumites that haven't announced yet?

Aren't your babies already conscripted into the Brigham Young army?

But y'see, it wields powerful weapons: the cuteness-overload gaze and the nurglite projectile vomit... They are perfect for military affairs.

I spent ten minutes trying to get him to smile. The best I got was this:

The minute I sat down and started uploading picture he was all smiles and giggles.

My son takes after his father in the way that he's a douche, apparently. :p

Actually, if any one can make that picture not blurry I would be in their debt.

As a man who enjoys holding babies, I approve of this thread. I became an uncle for the first time today, but I won't get to see the baby until Saturday. Hopefully, they'll have it all cleaned off by then. :heythere:

I became an uncle back in November.

Here is my nephew:

and NO, you can;t have him for any army.

My niece and nephew are in their teens... *sighs* It feels like it was only yesterday they were wee little ankle-biters who'd scream "Unca Mikko! Unca Mikko!" every time I came to visit them, followed by them hugging my legs so I'd have to walk around with a child on each pantleg.

To be honest... I feel saddened being childless m'self after seeing those pics. ESPECIALLY after last week at work: plenty of people younger than me by only 3-5 years, and many of them had babies (judging by the sounds from the background).

Judging by all the stories you've told about your interaction with kids, you're meant to be a dad. You seem like a very kind and nurturing person. It'll happen someday. :) How old are you anyway?

My brother is about to have a kid. Personally I don't think I quite believe. "My brother? A kid? Go on and pull the other one, it had got bells on." Personally, when I see him with it I think I still won't believe it. "Hey bro, where'd you get the kid?" "My wife's uterus" "Really? naaah, no way that could happen."

I'm having the same reaction with my sister. She's about 6 months along but I still can't quite grasp the fact that she's going to be a mother. She used to be so adamant about not having kids.

Sadly enough, I'm more exciting about throwing a baby shower. It means I get to bake a bunch. I'm sure I'll be excited about my niece/nephew when they get here though.

I kind of told my boyfriend's cousin that her baby looked like a conehead while trying to comment on the fact that all newborn babies (that aren't born by c-section, anyway) look like coneheads and I think it's cute.
