So I want to catch up on the last couple years of Batman and Green Lantern stuff. I haven't read any of the lantern wars stuff (when I stopped the Sinestro Corps were just starting to form) and I haven't read anything having to do with Batman's death/timetravel/whatever thing. I'd really like to catch up on both of these characters but getting everything would mean dropping like 500 dollars on books and trades and cross happenings and whatnot.
So what should I get to get the general idea of what's been happening to these guys for the last 4 or 5 years?
