I was out of town for a few weeks on a work trip and I found the best store ever...full of Super Mario and other video game stuffed toys/costumes etc.
I got my son a stuffed toad hat and a stuffed pikachu hat for my daughter!! Sadly, they didn't have any Toadette stuff, but I got a 1up stuffed mushroom for myself.
I'm going back later this month and seriously considering getting the Sheldon bobble head for my friend.

My local mall has a store like that, I think called Anime Ages. I'd probably spend more money there if I wasn't broke.

We have a few hobby shops around here, but they don't have all that much cool stuff. When I was in California, I went to this little shop that sold stuff like this and I could have spent a mint in there.
I settled on 2 Final Fantasy Dissidia action figures (Squall and Zidane for those who are curious).

Squall is great, but Laguna was the MAN.

They didn't have a Laguna action figure.
I wish they would have done the 2 seperate games like it was originally intended.
For those who don't know FF VIII was supposed to be two games a-la FF X and FF X-2. Unfortunately, the higher ups didn't think that people would like having two seperate games in the same universe, and won't buy both (IRONY). One game was to be the bulk of what we got in the final release of the game featuring Squall and pals. The second was going to be almost entirely in the past with Laguna and his group filling in a lot of the back story.
I would have played the hell out of a game that featured Laguna as the main character.[DOUBLEPOST=1341639345][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, for the record, Final Fantasy IX is criminally under-appreciated.

There was going to be a goddamn game with goddamn Laguna as the goddamn main character?
I was going to offer to make you Toadette goods as I am a quasi-accomplished seamstress and plushie maker. I'm also a watercolor painter, knitter, embroiderer, wire-jeweler...

I swear every time I'm in a hobby shop, I want to blow like a grand on everything I cast my eyes on - from model train stuff to RC cars to die-cast 1:12 scale stuff.

I feel the same way every time I get a Hammacher Schlemmer catalog.

If you go to Disney World, do NOT go into the pop culture store in the Japan area of EPCOT World Showcase. My daughter was so sad that she had already used all her gift cards after she saw the sheer amount of Pokemon toys alone.
